Summary: As we celebrated the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Japan-Vietnam Foreign Relations, 2018 has become the year of cultural exchange in many areas such as Politics, Economics and Culture and contributed in deepening the friendship and ties between the two countries. The annual "Vietnam Festival in Tohoku", which will be renamed as "Vietnam Sports & Culture Festival in Tohoku" will mark the 4th anniversary this October. In addition, “Japan-Vietnam Sports & Culture Festival KIZUNA" is due to be organised in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It is our fervent wish to contribute to the cultural exchange of our two countries in a true sense through these festivals by introducing the essence of ‘Music’, ‘Riku’, ‘Food’ and ‘Culture’ and of both countries.
