Summary: The Ship for Southeast and Japanese Youth Program (SSEAYP) was launched as the joint program among Japan and ASEAN countries in January 1974. This program has been carried out all the years that follow. This year, it marks the 45th program.
The ten ASEAN countries and Japan participate in this program. Youths from respective countries participate in various activities to promote friendship and mutual understanding among the promising youth of Japan and ASEAN countries as well as develop the youth who can demonstrate their leadership skills in their respective countries and a global society.
