Summary: JDS program funded by the Government of Japan through official development assistance (ODA) is the full scholarship including tuition fee, flight tickets, monthly scholarship and the other allowances awarded to Vietnamese young highly capable government officials who are expected to contribute to the socio-economic development of Viet Nam. The Program has started in Viet Nam since 2000 and has dispatched 574 JDS fellows from Viet Nam to Japan up to now. Within the new framework from 2018 to 2021, JDS in 2018 provides two-year master’s course in various study fields including Economics, Urban Development, Energy, Agriculture, Environment, Legal System, and Public Administration at Japanese universities.
